The Final Leg

Final Championship Standings (after 17 rounds)
Next Season - Season 16
Initial reports for season 16 look good for the team. There are a number of fairly inexperienced teams, and a few with experience, however, none look to pose any threat to our dominance.
Initial testing of the new car suggest a slight drop in performance compared to last year, but better than what we had hoped given the situation that occurred a few races previous.
The season doesn't have a full compliment yet, so anything could happen!

Season 15 - Races 13 and 14 (Hungaroring - Spa-Francorchamps)
Official report? Uh... ditto? Well actually, we can report that due to a failure in procedure at the factory, a whole race worth of research has been lost. It is expected that this will cause roughly a 5% drop in performance next year, provided reliability is not compromised to compensate. Extra staff have been hired to help recover the shortfall. The situation is also being investigated, and steps will be taken to prevent this kind of incident in the future.
However, it's been a good day for the team's rankings, with two +1 increases and a +3 increase.

Morvannec F1 Team Press Release
Team Principle - Elof Valantor
Morvannec F1 has made changes to it's Staff line up with immediate effect. The position of Lead Researcher has been reassessed and team principle Elof Valantor has decided not to renew Hipolito Simpson's contract with the team. Elof Valantor had this to say on the matter.
"Hipolito came to the team hoping to find new challenges. I think he would say he found them. Unfortunatly it is in the best interests of the team for us to part ways with Hipolito. He has provided us with an exceptional car this year, and we thank him greatly."
