Morvannec F1 Driver Press Release
Team Principle - Elof Valantor
Morvannec F1 has made changes to it's driver line up. Team principle Elof Valantor has confirmed that the teams contract with driver Dante Jimenez has been terminated by mutual consent.
"Dante came to me and asked to be released from his contract. He had received an offer from another team and wanted to pursue it. I felt that it was the right thing to do to let him. Dante has given a lot to this team and this is our way of thanking him - letting him do what he wants."
The change has caught many paddock insiders off guard as Morvannec F1 is a front running team and known to be a good team to drive for. Dante has not been available for comment.
The driver line up now looks like:
Drivers (Morvannec F1 does not employ team orders, use of driver numbering is purely for classification)
Driver 1 - Mylio Silvanos
Driver 2 - Emmanuel Erickson
Test Driver - Kirk Lassiter
Youth Driver - no youth driver
New driver Emmanuel Erickson is no stranger to F1 racing, and should see good service with Morvannec F1. Here's what Elof had to say:
"Emmanuel was a pretty easy choice really. We scanned the market for a young, promising driver with some developed skills. A driver of equal or greater talent and ability to Dante. I'm sure Emmanuel will prove his worth very quickly."
It is believed Emmanuel signed for somewhere near the £4,000,000 mark.
Season 18 - Race 6 (Monte Carlo)
Well, after the surprise of last races sudden surge of competitiveness from the other teams everything has been returned to normal. Our drivers have upped their game and put in a lot more effort and found well over a second in performance, aiding them in a resounding annihilation of the opposition. Mylio lead home a crushing 1-2 victory where 3rd place was near 3 laps down.

Season 18 - Races 1 and 2 (Albert Park - Sepang)
Welcome to season 18! We are happy to announce that we have had an excellent season of research and are this season fielding what we believe to be a perfect car (based on research).
Australia was rather uneventful, but Malaysia was certainly a wake up call. Even our cars are not invincible, as Dante showed by piling off into the gravel.

I also am aware that the seasonal finance report was not posted last race. Apologies.
Final Championship Standings (after 17 rounds)Next Season - Season 18
Initial reports for season 18 again look good for the team. Only one team has signed up for the same league so far, and they are fresh from their first season, so will be no threat to the teams dominance.
For the first time in Morvannec F1s history we have a perfect car ready for the opening race in Australia. This is a remarkable achievement and I personally, as team manager, praise all the people who have made this possible.
