Morvannec F1 Team Press Release
Team Principle - Elof Valantor
Morvannec F1 has made had a major corporate re-shuffle following the end of the season (season 16). It has been confirmed that roughly 100 staff have been fired, and an unknown number of new staff hired. here is what team principle Elof Valantor had to say:
"Yes there has been some changes made to the internal workings of the team. These changes have been planned for a while now and we foresee no problems arising from it. The departure of some of our workforce is a strategic move to help manage the ever changing financial hurdles this sport throws at us, as well as increase the efficiency of the teams operations. I will not go into any more detail on the specifics of the changes. Thank you."
Some people believe this to be purely a cost cutting measure in anticipation of the new sponsorship regulations due to enter effectiveness in the next few weeks. Others have voiced opinions that the team has discovered new avenues of progress - though so far no opinions as to what progress have been voiced.
Still, it will be interesting to see how Morvannec F1 continues from here. For better or worse? Let's watch and see.
Season 16 - Races 15 and 17 (Monza - Suzuka)
The Final Leg
Another perfect season ends! The team picks up maximum points and Mylio takes another glorious World Title! Drinks on me! :)
Final Championship Standings (after 17 rounds)
Next Season - Season 17
Initial reports for season 17 again look good for the team. There are a number of fairly inexperienced teams, and a few with experience (AkiSpeed and FI Racing), however, none look to pose any threat to our dominance.
A minor set back occurred in the final phase of design for season 17's car. However, some intensive testing should iron out the edges.
The season doesn't have a full compliment yet, so anything could happen!
